To begin a Vintage Print collection..

An easy and affordable way to start  a Vintage Print collection is to begin with 19th Century Newspaper illustrations.
These are usually prints of original woodcuts, and are visually very appealing. Good examples are from “The Illustrated London News“, “Sphere”, and “Graphic” magazines.

Also Political cartoons, from early “Punch” magazines, are a timeless and biting social commentary on the injustices of their time.
I find a lot of sentiment prevailing 150 years ago is still relevant today..here’s one I particularly like..
