Archibald Thorburn’s Birds

by jules on June 26, 2010

Archibald Thorburn(1860 -1935) was a superb painter of wildlife. It is said that he refused to make use of electric lighting, preferring natural light for his painting, resorting only to lamps and candles for aides. His work is exquisite!
